Operator Drill & Blast - FIFO Various Sites

Rio Tinto is hiring Drill and Blast Operators to join our teams across various Pilbara mine sites. These roles are full-time, FIFO from Perth, Busselton, Albany, Geraldton, and Broome, supporting productivity in a safety-driven environment.

What You'll Do

• Operate drill and blast activities across site teams to drive productivity and meet operational targets.
• Coordinate blast crew leadership, ensure safe and efficient blasting operations, and manage housekeeping and compliance in magazines and work areas.

What You'll Bring

• Commitment to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your team.
• A valid Australian C Class manual driver's license or higher.
• A strong team mindset with the ability to work safely and flexibly to meet business requirements.

Drill & Blast Operators – Requirements

• Must hold relevant surface mining tickets and accredited units in drill and blast operations.
• Experience leading and coordinating a blast crew; familiarity with electronic detonators preferred.
• Strong focus on housekeeping and compliance within magazines and related areas.
