Your OpportunityThis role is responsible for providing end-to-end delivery of data platforms solutions, from concept to operations, including design, build, test, implementation, and operations. This requires responsibility for the full lifecycle of initiatives, in accordance with TPG Telecom's strategic business objectives and operating model.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the ongoing design, build, and operation of TPG Telecom Data Platforms.
- Operating under either an Agile or Waterfall methodology, depending on the delivery approach.
- Developing technical solutions to address business needs and operational targets, maintaining consistency and compliance with architecture, security, and development standards.
- Driving and participating in planning workshops and providing project estimates.
- Conducting cross-domain planning, design, development, and implementation analysis.
- Preparing high-level or functional designs, detailed designs, and development of code, testing, and implementation artifacts, ensuring standards are met.
- Designing and implementing reusable building blocks and patterns.
- Collaborating with project managers and architects to scope projects aligned with architectural principles.
- Participating in Data & Cloud guild design and architecture forums.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in relevant fields or 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in software or data engineering within large-scale, complex data and analytics functions.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with Campaign Platforms, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, AWS Cloud, Analytics, Reporting, and Machine Learning.
- Desirable skills include data solutions & pipelines, SAS DI, Teradata, Cloudera, SQL Server, SAS CI, SAS RTDM, Pega, Airflow, Qlik, Business Objects, Data Modelling.
- Understanding of business applications and data environments.
- Strong understanding of TPG Telecom's Data environment and related reporting functions.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to drive strategy and manage costs.
- Effective negotiation and customer management skills.
