We are looking for skilled data professionals to join a Federal Government Agency as part of a high-performing team in two exciting roles based in Geelong for 12-month assignments.

  • EL1 Assistant Director – Data and Reporting
  • APS6 Data and Reporting Officer

Key Skills Required

Strong quantitative and analytical mindsetProficiency in handling and analysing large datasets from data warehousesAbility to synthesise and communicate complex informationExperience with statistical tools : R, Python, Excel, SAS / SQLEffective communication of insights to non-technical audiences (advanced for EL1, developing for APS6)

Desirable

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related fieldExperience in modelling, forecasting, or statistical learning techniques (especially for EL1)Leadership experience in data analysis projects (EL1)
