Location: Portland Tabulam Multi-Purpose Service, Portland Tabulam Health Centre. Employment Type: Permanent Full Time or Part Time. Position Classification: Enrolled Nurse. Remuneration: $32.79 - $35.63 per hour. Hours Per Week: Up to 38. Requisition ID: REQ585735. Applications Close: 21/09/2025.

Portland Tabulam Health Centre provides Residential Aged Care, sub-acute beds, and a range of community health services in partnership with the Lithgow Health Service. The facility focuses on patient-centred and personalised care in collaboration with residents, families, and the community.

Responsibilities

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide safe patient care as directed by the Nurse Manager according to the nursing care plan and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Midwife. You will perform key duties within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse. Key to success is effective communication with the team, patients, and families, and maintaining accurate health information and documentation for patients.

What you will bring to the role
  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated skill in Aged Care Nursing.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work.
  • Knowledge of and ability to work within a person-centred approach to nursing with a willingness to embrace change in the delivery of care.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
  • Ability to work a flexible roster (day, evening and night shifts across all days of the week, including public holidays) according to unit/service requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
  • Understanding of and ability to practice in accordance with legislation, policies and the scope of practice for an Enrolled Nurse.
