The Opportunity

Due to internal mobility, we now have an opportunity for an experienced and results-focused Product Specialist to join our Wound Closure Team in Brisbane. You will inherit an established territory spanning from Brisbane Metro to Toowoomba and will be responsible for the sale of our Wound Closure products to various specialties in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with Specialist Surgeons and key hospital decision makers, developing relationships and new business opportunities to achieve sales revenue and increase market share
• Developing in-depth product and clinical knowledge across our range of Wound Closure products, coordinating product demonstrations, and collaborating with internal teams
• Establishing and running regular training for theatre personnel, and partnering with our internal Professional Education team to offer additional high-level training opportunities
• Liaising with stakeholders, providing accurate information regarding all products and their indications to customers
• Monitoring competitor activity and market trends, maintaining a high level of surgical and industry knowledge relevant to the role

About You

• Degree qualification in a Health-related field, Science, or Business, with proven skills in medical devices or pharmaceutical sales and territory management
• Demonstrated ability in identifying customer pain points, expectations, and implicit needs, and proactively seeking solutions
• Commercial acumen, and a positive can-do attitude to achieving results
• Self-starter who is also a collaborative team player with the ability to influence
• Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
