Overview

We've partnered with a rapidly growing global tech company that's looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their high-performing team. This is a 6 month rolling contract with hybrid working arrangements.

In this role, you'll be working across the stack, designing, building, and maintaining a robust Java/Kotlin backend (including open-source libraries and APIs), while also developing modern, user-friendly frontends with TypeScript and React. Your expertise will help drive the delivery of scalable microservices and seamless web applications within a modern, cloud-based architecture.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and/or Kotlin.
  • Proficiency in building frontend applications with TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React.
  • Develop RESTful APIs with strong security practices and integrate with external/internal systems using industry-standard API integration patterns.
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications in Kubernetes clusters.
  • Use monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog) to ensure application health and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and automation.
  • Understand full-stack application development lifecycle and experience with API integration patterns (e.g., synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex, distributed systems.
Qualifications
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Java and/or Kotlin.
  • Proficiency in building frontends with TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and API security; familiarity with API integration patterns.
  • Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting in Kubernetes.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog).
  • Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams; problem-solving for complex systems.
