About the Role

This is apart-time positionwith flexibility for15-20 hours per week- ideal for someone looking to keep work/life balance in check.

You'll be supporting our team and clients by:

• Maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping for clients,
• Being responsible for client lodgements, includingBAS, IAS,andTPAR
• UsingXeroandMYOBto manage daily transactions and maintain records
• Managingaccounts payableandreceivable
• Running payrollsfor a range of clients andmanaging superannuationpayments
• Performing accurate and timelybank account reconciliations
• Postingjournalsand supportingmonth-endprocesses
• Liaising with clientsand suppliers with professionalism
• Helping improve internal processes as part of a collaborative team
• Supporting broader business activities beyond bookkeeping, including occasional admin tasks and client coordination

This role may have potential to expand to full-time in the future if that aligns with your goals - but your interest (or not) in full-time work will have no bearing on our current hiring decision.

About You

You're an experienced and detail-oriented bookkeeper who enjoys working closely with clients to deliver exceptional results. You'll bring:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a bookkeeping role, preferably within a small practice or with small business clients
• Solid working knowledge of cloud accounting systems(Xero & MYOB essential)
• Strong understanding of payroll, GST, BAS, and general compliance requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the confidence to engage directly with clients and provide meaningful insights
• Familiarity with tools such as HubDoc, Dext, Fathom, NetSuite, or XBert (desirable but not essential)
• Aqualification in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance(desirable but not essential)

Remuneration

$35-40 p/hr, plus super and performance bonuses
