About the role:

The Senior Project Officer will join a large QLD tertiary education institute to support the Director and Manager of Product services in the oversight of a large program of work.

Responsibilities

Support the Product Team by ensuring timely, accurate, and policy-compliant reporting and financial documentation.

Maintain and manage a schedule of work across the program portfolio.

Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including internal teams, external government agencies and clients to ensure alignment with governance and strategic objectives.

Utilise systems such as JIRA, Microsoft Office, Copilot and Power Bi to support operations and provide high level reporting.

Develop and implement reporting frameworks and performance tracking tools against objectives and KPI's

Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

Build and maintain effective and productive working relationships across the organisation.

Work independently to manage tasks and deliverables within required timeframes.

Support transformation and cultural change initiatives by modelling organisational values.

Experience

Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

High level of communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse teams.

Experience in program governance, reporting, and financial oversight.

Proficiency in relevant systems and tools including Office 365, JIRA and document management systems and protocols.

Qualification in program or project management or equivalent experience.

Experience in diverse, fast paced and dynamic environment.

Knowledge of financial and reporting systems and processes.
