An opportunity has arisen to join the Opal team at our manufacturing site in Rocklea (QLD). We currently have positions available across 2 shifts from Monday to Friday:

  • Afternoon Shift: 2pm to 10pm
  • Night Shift: 10pm to 6am

As a Reel Grab Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive 7T Reel Grab Forklift with Grab / Clamp attachment to unload incoming paper deliveries
  • Manage Paper Reel store, including correct storage of paper, stock rotation, and cycle count
  • Move paper reels from store area to the production line
  • Assist with machine operation of the corrugator to keep the line running
  • Work safely at all times
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized workplace

  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • Forklift license and experience operating 5t+ counterbalance forklifts with grab or other specialized lifting attachments
