Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a public health district serving the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region. Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital delivering tertiary services across emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery.

What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Current registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience and demonstrated skill in acute nursing
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
  • Demonstrated evidence of providing person-centred care
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to work a flexible roster

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care under supervision of Registered Nurses in the Childrens Ward
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes promptly
  • Contribute to safe and high-quality patient care within NBMLHD standards
