We're seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Casual Cleaner to join our team at Scarborough-Wombarra Bowling & Recreation Club immediately

About The Role

You'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our club facilities, ensuring our members and guests enjoy a pristine environment. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a community-focused team.

Schedule
  • Friday to Monday (4 days per week)
  • 6:00am start (early start, early finish)
  • 3-4 hours per day
  • Additional hours available during peak summer season and special events

Key Responsibilities
  • Bowling Greens & Surrounds: Remove debris, clean seating areas, and ensure spectator zones are spotless
  • Clubhouse Cleaning: Vacuum and mop all floor surfaces, dust furniture and fixtures, clean windows and glass doors, sanitize door handles and high-touch surfaces
  • Bar Areas: Deep clean preparation areas, sanitize benches and equipment, empty bins, clean appliances, and maintain food safety standards
  • Amenities & Toilets: Thoroughly clean and sanitize all bathroom facilities, restock supplies, mop floors, clean mirrors and fixtures
  • External Areas: Sweep pathways, clean outdoor furniture, maintain entry points, and keep car park areas tidy
  • Equipment Management: Properly clean, maintain and store all cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Waste Management: Empty bins throughout facility, manage recycling, and maintain bin storage areas
  • Event Support: Assist with pre and post-event cleaning, including setup and breakdown of additional facilities as required
  • Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns to management promptly

  • Physical fitness for cleaning duties
  • Flexibility to work additional hours during busy periods
  • Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
