Overview

Start a trainee position with on-the-job training and study for 12 months to gain a qualification.

Responsibilities
  • Assist elderly residents in a Residential Aged Care setting with daily lifestyle activities.
  • Learn on the job and be paid to attend training days.
  • Work as part of an established team in Oakhampton.
  • Maintain a caring, supportive, and reliable approach to residents and team members.

  • Ability to pass a National Police Check (we will arrange this for you)
  • Must have valid working rights in Australia and reside in Australia
  • To access State Funding for the training, must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen
  • Regular availability to work AM shift 6:30am–2:30pm, PM 2:30pm–10:00pm, and to attend training 9:30am–4:30pm
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 3 days a week, Monday to Sunday
  • Must be able to work PM (afternoon) shifts
