Responsibilities- Assist elderly residents in a Residential Aged Care setting with daily lifestyle activities.
- Learn on the job and be paid to attend training days.
- Work as part of an established team in Oakhampton.
- Maintain a caring, supportive, and reliable approach to residents and team members.
- Have a great attitude
- Be reliable
- Willingness to learn and work
- Ability to pass a National Police Check (we will arrange this for you)
- Must have valid working rights in Australia and reside in Australia
- To access State Funding for the training, must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen
- Regular availability to work AM shift 6:30am–2:30pm, PM 2:30pm–10:00pm, and to attend training 9:30am–4:30pm
- Must be able to work a minimum of 3 days a week, Monday to Sunday
- Must be able to work PM (afternoon) shifts
- Personal Care (showering, dressing, grooming)
- Bed making, room tidying up
- Feeding
- Setting tables and meals for residents
- Social / Activities
- Ability to listen, build rapport, and work with a range of clients and staff
