The Auth0 Sales Team
Auth0 aims to make the internet safer by helping companies authenticate, authorize, and protect digital interactions. We offer a secure, highly available, enterprise-grade platform that manages billions of Customer Identity logins annually. As an Auth0 Account Executive, you will grow your territory through acquiring new logos and expanding existing customer relationships, supported by our ecosystem, with a focus on delivering consistent results and excellent customer service.
The Commercial Account Executive Role
The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-driven sales professional passionate about acquiring new clients, engineering, product technology, and defending against identity threats.
You will work with marquee clients to secure user access, collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to deliver secure, frictionless digital experiences. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new logos and nurturing existing customer relationships to foster growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic plan for long-term pipeline growth
- Consistently meet revenue targets to support annual territory growth
- Create and execute account strategies to generate pipeline and sales opportunities
- Engage with decision-makers in prospect accounts and build a network of contacts
- Create compelling presentations and documents to convey ideas effectively
- Align with executives and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews
- Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed revenue quotas
- Utilize partners to identify and develop opportunities
- Build effective partnerships within the Auth0 ecosystem, including with partners and internal teams
- Travel as needed to build relationships with clients and prospects
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in growing revenue for complex enterprise SaaS products
- Proven ability to educate and create demand among Product, Digital, and Engineering teams
- Strong technical discovery skills and understanding of product development, DevOps, and engineering terminology
- Ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels
- Experience with Engineering, Product, and Digital Transformation initiatives
- Self-driven with humility and teamwork skills
- Creative thinking to open new opportunities
- Experience with sales frameworks like MEDDPICC and methodologies such as Challenger or Sandler
- High energy, rigor, and accuracy in forecasting and opportunity management
