Our People & Culture team is passionate about sourcing, engaging, and developing talented individuals who drive Beca forward into our second century. Based in Melbourne, you will be part of a respected team that is central to Beca's 5-year Australian growth strategy.

The Opportunity

We are looking for someone with at least one year of relevant post-qualification experience within a People & Culture team in a large corporate or similar environment. A strong understanding of Australian employment legislation is essential. You should be eager to learn, share knowledge, and bring fresh perspectives. A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for building connections across all levels of the organization are important. Delivering professional, timely service is a priority.

In this role, you will provide professional and accurate People & Culture advice on a range of activities, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies in Australia and New Zealand. Responsibilities include creating employment documentation, supporting other team members during peak times, and contributing to our culture and values. You will also support projects, identify process improvements, and stay updated with legislative changes through industry engagement.

This is a 12-month fixed-term position.

About You

You possess a proactive attitude, resilience, and are comfortable with challenging conversations, gained through experience as a HR Coordinator or HR Advisor. You are practical, logical, and knowledgeable about AU Awards, employment legislation, and the Fair Work Act. You enjoy working flexibly, engaging with the team, and contributing to Beca's culture.
