General Manager HVAC NSW – Strategic Leadership Opportunity | $40M Service Business

We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking General Manager to lead the NSW operations of a nationally recognised market leader in mechanical and electrical services. With a strong leadership team and a clear strategic vision, this is a career-defining opportunity to take ownership of a $40 million business unit and drive continued growth and excellence.

As General Manager HVAC NSW, you will lead a high-performing team across all facets of operations, customer engagement, and service delivery. With 10 direct reports and a wider team of 25, you will be instrumental in fostering a culture of performance, safety, and innovation. Your focus will include strategic business growth, operational optimisation, and building strong client partnerships while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire the NSW team to deliver best-in-class mechanical and electrical services.
• Drive strategic growth initiatives and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
• Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all operations.
• Develop talent and promote a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Ensure the effective delivery of projects and services in line with business objectives.

About You:

• Proven senior leadership experience in a complex, service-driven business.
• Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering growth and operational excellence.
• HVAC expertise in a service environment
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through change and foster team engagement.
• High level of accountability, professionalism, and adaptability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and business development skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• MBA or similar executive leadership training is highly regarded.
• 10+ years' experience in HVAC, building services, electrical engineering, or a related sector.
