About The Role

A Religious Education (RE) Teacher plays a vital role in shaping students\' moral and ethical understanding while exploring various world religions and belief systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
• Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) registration
• Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
• Accreditation D or willingness to complete in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Reach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn Policy

To teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (to be a Religious Education Teacher), a teacher must:

• Be Catholic;
• Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest; and
• Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation D – Teach Religious Education in a Catholic school in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
