Under the direction of the Plumber / Irrigation Mechanic, the incumbent adjusts, repairs, troubleshoots and maintains all facilities plumbing systems and applications. Must have knowledge of local plumbing codes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
• Perform all preventive maintenance on systems and maintain applicable log books.
• Conduct walk-through inspections of domestic water systems to include water booster pumps, gauges and boiler temperature readings.
• Repair showers, sinks, toilets, water booster pumps and on and off-site facilities.
• Record gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
• Maintain technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.
• Knowledge of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's policies, procedures and schedules to ensure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately.
• Maintain tools, equipment and supplies in good, clean, operating order.
• Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Perform all duties as assigned.

High school diploma, trade school certificate preferred as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience with commercial / industrial plumbing or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• The casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to the general public.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
