Position: Senior School Teacher (Years 11/12)

Type: Full-time, permanent
The successful applicant will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver the Australian curriculum with a focus on literacy and numeracy skills for students with a history of disengagement from schooling, typically working at an upper primary or middle school level.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the FLC's objectives and planning.
- Contribute to establishing and maintaining a supportive school environment.
- Work alongside an expert adventure-based learning coordinator to deliver group programs.
- Focus on integrated learning, emphasizing transferable skills from the Human Capabilities Framework.
- Participate in accountability processes including reporting, personal learning plans, and NCCD requirements.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary supportive learning team.
- Manage small class groups.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 CERTIFICATE)
- Experience teaching QCAA Short Courses, Applied Subjects, VET, or in a flexible learning environment.
- Skills, training, and qualifications in Trauma-Informed Practice.
