Join Fusion5, a leading provider of digital advisory services, and become part of our vibrant and dynamic Transformation Advisory team based in Sydney or Melbourne. We specialise in delivering strategic plans and solutions to help our clients achieve their transformation goals.

Position Overview:

As an Enterprise Architect in our Advisory Services team, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with clients to develop strategy and delivery plans for their transformation programs. You will work closely with the Engagement Lead and solution architects to assess client operating models, design capability models, and recommend strategic solutions aligned with best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client operating models and develop strategic plans to improve operational performance
• Design capability models to support business improvements and address client requirements
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand guiding principles and decision drivers for digital solution selections
• Elicit and assess functional requirements and processes, preparing fit/gap assessments
• Design solution visions and executable roadmaps to address client business requirements
• Evaluate and recommend business, technology, and infrastructure architecture
• Keep abreast of new and evolving solutions and technologies through research and case studies
• Oversee the delivery of enterprise architecture/roadmap as the Engagement Lead
• Change Agent: Promotes an AI-driven mindset and helps teams adopt new technologies and workflows.
• Thought Leadership: Guides the organisation through digital transformation using AI as a strategic enabler.
• Data Clarity & Quality: Leverages AI to distill complex data into digestible insights and maintain high-quality datasets.
• Improve the enterprise architecture framework and toolsets to support project delivery
• Provide specialist product knowledge and domain expertise during sales opportunities.
• Contribute to RFP/RFI responses with architectural insights, solution overviews, and technical differentiators.
• Participate in orals and client presentations to explain architectural vision and transformation strategy.
• Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure: Selects appropriate deployment models (cloud, on-premises, hybrid) and ensures integration with existing systems
• Solution Design & Modelling: Uses AI to enhance architecture diagrams, fill gaps, and recommend optimal patterns.
• Provide input on effort estimation, delivery models, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between presales architecture and delivery capabilities
• Introduce emerging technologies and architectural patterns that differentiate the solution (e.g., AI edge computing, composable architecture)
• AI Architecture Planning: Designs end-to-end AI pipelines, including data ingestion, model training, deployment, and monitoring
• Data Science & ML Expertise: Understands machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), algorithms, and statistical modeling.
• Scenario Planning: Builds and compares transformation scenarios using AI-generated insights.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensures AI systems align with organisational policies and evolving regulations.
• Tool Selection & Integration: Evaluates and integrates AI tools with enterprise use cases, data platforms and analytics systems.
• Reporting & Visualization: Uses generative AI to produce executive summaries, dashboards, and impact analyses.
• Ethical Oversight: Identifies risks like model bias or data poisoning and ensures responsible AI practices.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in leading enterprise architecture engagements
• Advanced skills in preparing technical architecture diagrams, AI strategy, Agentic AI and solution design documentation
• Familiarity with Project Management approaches such as Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid
• Deep understanding of multiple systems and technologies
• Proven client pre-sales and relationship-building skills
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge and experience in a wide range of applications and technical platforms
