We're looking for experienced Auto Electricians with at least 2 years' experience in open cut mining working on a variety of mobile plant equipment. This is your opportunity to join our team at Griffin Coal, located 10km east of Collie.

Fleet Onsite:

  • CAT 793 Dump trucks
  • CAT 16M Graders
  • CAT 785 Water Carts

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Performing all 12/24-volt electrical repairs and routine PMs and upgrades
  • Ensuring electrical repairs are performed according to company guidelines and within budget
  • Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical systems
  • Assisting other trades on site and working cohesively within a team
  • Collaborating with Emeco customers to meet company objectives

What we require from you:

  • Full working rights within Australia
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • Relevant nationally accredited Automotive Electrical Trade Certificate
  • Nationally recognized Air Conditioning Licence and High-Risk Licence (mandatory)
  • Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment (Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi)
  • Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for heavy earthmoving electrical and wiring systems

The successful candidate will need to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, and provide a current National Police Check.
