The Opportunity:

Our welcoming Melton Campus is seeking a Campus Student Support Assistant's to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis commencing as soon as possible. Ideally, we are seeking someone with experience working with students with cognitive, physical, sensory and social-emotional disabilities.

Our welcoming Melton Campus is seeking a Campus Student Support Assistant's to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis commencing as soon as possible. Ideally, we are seeking someone with experience working with students with cognitive, physical, sensory and social-emotional disabilities.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will ideally have a Certificate IV in Education Support (with previous experience desirable), or Certificate III in Education Support with recent relevant experience. You will be skilled in working one-on-one with a student with a disability to enable full participation in classroom and education activities, liaising efficiently with classroom teachers and campus learning support teachers, and maintaining accurate learning records. A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required for this role.

The Campus:

OneSchool Global Melton campus is Victoria's largest site, housed in a state-of-the-art facility at the heart of High Street, Melton. Catering not only to local students, but to students from nearby Ballarat, Geelong, Melbourne, Sunbury and Werribee, Melton campus comprises learning spaces for both Primary and Secondary.

The campus features the latest in educational learning spaces as well as maker-spaces, breakout rooms, Zoom video-conference teaching rooms and large, open-plan learning centre spaces which foster self-directed learning, which is a cornerstone of our learning framework.

Course delivery includes face-to-face teaching from dedicated and experienced teachers onsite, as well as via video conferencing with other campuses. This allows a broader range of elective subjects to be offered and provides enriching interaction with other students. With learning support catering to various needs and enrichment for the talented, the campus is achieving excellent academic results.
