Junior Solicitor/Law Graduate – Genesis Legal Partners

Genesis Legal Partners, a well-regarded boutique law firm in Parramatta CBD, is seeking a motivated Junior Solicitor to join our general practice with a primary focus on property and family law. Our firm has experienced significant growth and represents private clients, small businesses, property developers, strata, and high-net-worth individuals across various practice areas, including family law, property, commercial, wills & estates, and commercial litigation.

This role is offered on a full-time basis with a remuneration package of $70,000 to $80,000 based on experience. Candidates preferring part-time work may have their remuneration and hours adjusted on a pro-rata basis, subject to agreement.

To Be Successful in This Role, We Are Looking For:

  • Admission as a solicitor with a current NSW Practising Certificate.

  • Satisfactory police check prior to commencement.

  • Ability to work autonomously and manage files from start to finish under time constraints.

  • Familiarity with court or tribunal appearances, including briefing Counsel.

  • Strong organisational skills and a passion for client-focused legal dispute resolution.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Sound computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with LEAP is a plus).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Liaison: Engage with clients, take instructions, and deliver exceptional service.

  • Court or Tribunal Appearances: Attend directions, mentions, and brief Counsel as required.

  • Legal Documentation: Prepare commercial contracts, leases, legal statements, affidavits, and court documentation.

  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough research to support cases.

  • Advice: Provide accurate and timely legal advice across property, family law, and other practice areas.

  • Networking: Participate in networking events to promote the firm's business, with bonus remuneration for referrals or introducing new clients.
