Security Clearance Required for this role: * Must have a NV1 and NV2 security clearance * Current OSA clearance highly desirable * Must be an Australian Citizen * Mon to Fri - office hours ACT location We're looking for an experienced VMware Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering secure, modern, and automated VMware environments across both cloud and on-premises platforms. What you'll be doing * Designing and delivering VMware solutions across complex, multi-environment landscapes. * Building automation for Software Defined Data Centre (SDDC) operations using VMware vRA (Aria) and vRO. * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align deployments with VMware best practices. * Developing detailed design documentation and operational artefacts to support delivery. What we're looking for Essential experience: * Strong track record in designing and deploying VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware Horizon. * Hands-on experience with VMware automation/orchestration tools to drive SDDC deployment. * Solid background working in DevSecOps environments, including CI/CD methodologies. Highly desirable experience: * VMware Director, NSX-T, Advanced Load Balancer (Avi), and HPE infrastructure. * Security hardening of VMware products to meet national/international standards. * Experience with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
