Join our team as a pivotal clinical leader, reporting to the Director of Care, and responsible for the day-to-day management of clinical operations.

As our new Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide leadership, advice, coordination, planning, review, and assessment of all aspects of clinical delivery to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and staff while also facilitating ongoing education and training for personal care workers, enrolled nurses, and registered nurses.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The key focus of this role is expanding clinical leadership coverage, with the ideal candidate providing oversight across a range of shifts, including some afternoon and weekend shifts. However, the organisation offers flexibility in how these hours are structured, aiming to balance operational needs with the candidate's availability to ensure comprehensive resident care.

To qualify, you will need a Bachelor of Nursing Degree with current, unrestricted AHPRA registration.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical leadership role is essential, with experience in aged care being highly desirable. We also welcome candidates transitioning from acute care, with aged care training provided as part of professional development.

You will also need to hold a current and valid Police Check or have the ability to obtain one.

Additionally, the following will be highly valued:

  • Demonstrated understanding of assessment and care planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed leadership and people management skills.

  • A commitment to compliance, accreditation, and governance.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, especially when working across different shifts.
  • A passion for aged care and dedication to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

If you are passionate about aged care and dedicated to making our facility the best it can be while providing top-notch service, we encourage you to apply. Your commitment to excellence and passion for improving lives will make you an invaluable addition to our team.
