Overview

Chief Information & Technology Officer role at Lester Blades - Executive Search & Board Advisory. This position is offered by one of WA's most innovative and successful community service organisations, one that has demonstrated great leadership over several decades. It has an enviable track record of delivering positive outcomes for clients, together with strategic growth and commercial sustainability. The position is a member of the executive leadership team and reports to the CEO.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic leadership, management and development of services to support the core business of people centred service delivery.
  • Manage the team providing information and communications technology services.
  • Bringing expertise and insight to matters of cybersecurity, systems architecture, systems integration and oversight.
  • Bring a "future focus" to our ICT needs.
  • Records and Information Management.
Who we are seeking

You should bring a great track record of delivering and managing technology/digital solutions in a large and complex human services environment. You are the kind of ICT leader who totally gets the people element of a human services business, one size does not fit all. You do not do organisation change with a keyboard

Secondly, leadership (of course), but don't just think the usual leadership attributes and qualities; our client is interested in thought leaders, people centred managers who bring great EQ, who genuinely love working with others, someone who brings an unwavering commitment to what we do (this work really matters), how we do it (think care and compassion), the way we work with our colleagues (we value and encourage), perhaps a unique way of looking at things, whilst still getting to the necessary outcome.

You are the ICT leader who looks at things critically and analytically, you don't accept the status quo because it is easier, and you don't take this path because everyone else is on it, you listen and empathise, you advise without judging. Naturally you display the very finest interpersonal and communication skills, such that you energise and inspire those around you, (your own team and across the organisation).

Working arrangements

Our client is open to both flexible working arrangements and is negotiable on whether this is an FTE position. It is more likely to be between 0.5 and 0.7.
