Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Print Quality Specialist to join our team on a contractor basis. The Print Quality Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all printed materials produced by our client's company. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement quality control processes for all print materials
  2. Conduct regular quality checks on printed materials to ensure they meet company standards
  3. Identify and resolve any quality issues that arise during the printing process
  4. Collaborate with designers and printers to ensure all materials are produced accurately and to the highest quality
  5. Train and educate team members on quality standards and processes
  6. Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the printing process
  7. Communicate with clients to understand their quality requirements and provide solutions to meet their needs
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in printing technology to continuously improve quality standards

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in print quality management
  3. Strong knowledge of printing processes, materials, and equipment
  4. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  8. Prior experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is preferred

This is a contractor position based in Melbourne, VIC. The contract duration will be determined based on the project requirements.
