Overview

The Visitor Experience is a 7 day a week operation with this role required to contribute to ensuring that outstanding performance is delivered compliantly every day.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The primary role of the Visitor Experience Retail Sales Assistant is to support and contribute to a high level of service and deliver an exceptional experience to consumers. Additionally, you will be expected to model positive behaviours such as proactive consumer engagement, immersive storytelling, and model a growth mindset to also contribute positively to a large, diverse, cross functional team. They will be responsible for achieving service and sales targets, which can involve various staff training such as selling techniques (on selling/up selling) and product knowledge (features and benefits).

Top accountability

Perform cross functional tasks that deliver the successful day to day running of the Visitor Experience facility including but not limited to:

  • Retail sales
  • Ticket sales
  • Bar tending
  • Site cleaning
  • Event execution
Qualifications / Experience
  • RSA & Food Handling Cert
  • 2+ years of Retail/ Tourism/ Hospitality experience.
  • Strong desire to learn more about the site
  • Possess a friendly, helpful, confident, and engaging personality.
  • Be familiar with sales protocols and customer service procedures.
  • An excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Possess the ability to build positive relationships with customers.
