The Engineering Lead – Electrical, based in Mackay, Queensland, plays a pivotal role in driving technical excellence and fostering business growth within a multidisciplinary Engineering business. This position combines advanced technical experience in electrical engineering with a strategic focus on business development and team management.
As a technical lead, you will deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions across the full project lifecycle. Your experience in Industry around Queensland will have given you a practical understanding of what is important when executing projects. Your Registration as a professional Engineer will support you in supervising electrical engineering deliverables.
As a leader, you will be responsible for a multidisciplinary team in a remote office, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals while building and maintaining strong client relationships. Your immediate team consists of intermediate and graduate electrical engineers who you will support with development. You will be empowered to further grow this team, including bringing mechanical and structural capabilities to the Mackay office, supported by the broader Waterline team.
As a representative of the company in the Mackay region, the Engineering Lead will actively promote the company's values, purpose, and brand, contributing to the local and regional growth of the business.
