Support Professional – Disability Services (Launceston & West Tamar)

Are you passionate about supporting people to live their best lives? Possability is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Professionals to join our team in the Launceston and West Tamar region.

About The Role

As a Support Professional, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to people with disability, helping them achieve their goals and live independently. This includes:
  • 1:1 and 2:1 support, including personal care
  • Supporting daily living, community access, and skill development
  • Working across split shifts (e.g., 2+4 hours), between 7am and 9pm, including weekends
  • No sleepovers required
  • Access to over $15k in Salary Packaging options

What We're Looking For
  • Desired: Qualified: Minimum Certificate III in Disability Support (or equivalent) or Previous experience in the disability or community services sector
  • Reliable & Flexible: Able to work a variety of shifts across the week
  • Ability to use your own personal vehicle with full comprehensive insurance and a full driver's licence

What's Essential
  • Working with Vulnerable People with NDIS endorsement
  • First Aid/CPR certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Medication & Healthy Bodies certificates (or ability to obtain)

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personal care and support aligned with individual care plans
  • Ability to assist with meal preparation, budgeting, and daily routines (as required)
  • Support community participation and recreational activities
  • Administer medication and monitor wellbeing (if required)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with NDIS requirements
