About the role

We have two fixed term opportunities located at Stanwell Power Station; one until 30 June 2026 with the other till 1 Jan 2027.

The purpose of the role is to provide Electrical and instrumentation support and input to the operation and maintenance of Stanwell Power Station plant. Electrical/Instrumentation Tradespersons are required to carry out routine and breakdown maintenance and coordinate work party activities in accordance with Stanwell's safe system of work.

Key activities include:

  • Performing work allocated within the weekly schedule
  • Investigating and identifying faults in response to plant alarms / breakdowns.
  • Providing feedback on opportunities to improve plant performance, maintenance work, coaching and mentoring to others.
  • Developing a plan to correct plant faults and sourcing all required resources to correct faults.
About you
  • Electrical Trade Certificate and a current Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence (or equivalent)
  • Certificate III Instrumentation trade
  • Hold a current manual drivers license (C Class).
