Overview

We are looking for a Pathology Collector to service Pathology clinic in Atherton. Part-Time or Casual positions available.

Responsibilities

Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing 24hr Blood Pressure and Holter monitoring.

Collection of blood and other samples from patients

Processing of Pathology Specimens

Ability to work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres.

Clerical duties and process paperwork

Own car and current driver licence is required

Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients

Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery

Ability to demonstrate organisation and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritise and work under pressure

Basic computer skills

Comply with Work Health and Safety

Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19

Qualifications

Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method

Experience in ABP and Holter monitors preferred but not essential
