Overview

Contribute to the delivery of effective and efficient regulatory and enforcement services by providing responsive, high quality customer service to internal stakeholders, external customers, and the broader community. This role plays a key part in promoting compliance, community safety, and positive engagement with Council's policies and regulations.

Hours

Hours Part time or full time hours over 7 day roster, including weekends. (some out of hours work may required).

Status

Permanent full time or part time

Qualifications

The successful applicant must have a high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) and/or experience for appointment as an Authorised Officer.

Salary

Level 4 – starting at $ per hour plus weekend penalty rates p.a. plus statutory superannuation.

(In accordance with the Yorke Peninsula Council Municipal Officers Enterprise Agreement No 8, 2024).

Location

Maitland/Yorketown Office, however appointment is to the Council, therefore the successful applicant may be required to undertake duties at other locations.
