We are seeking an experienced Electronic Security Systems Solutions Architect with a strong record delivering in the federal government

Australian citizens with a NV1 clearance are desirable for this role.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain clear, effective design and solution architecture documents, such as design descriptions and options papers, while also capturing functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Contribute to project planning and administrative tasks, including status reports, risk and issue registers, and lessons learned documentation.
  • Work closely with Program and Project Managers to support overall program objectives.
  • Oversee complex implementation and testing activities, making sure they align with maintenance/change schedules.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure all solutions are aligned with established target architecture and technology standards.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience managing complex projects that involve multiple technology areas, including software development and ICT infrastructure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail, including a history of preparing materials for and supporting senior executive boards/committees.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage stakeholders and negotiate, engaging successfully with all levels of an organization and building strong professional networks.
  • Extensive experience preparing and presenting solution artifacts, such as design documentation and options papers.
  • Experience with electronic security systems, including CCTV, EACS, and PSIM technologies.

Australian Citizens with a NV1 clearance are desirable for this role.
