We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager based in Adelaide to manage and develop new and existing customer accounts within the South Australian Government. This role involves growing revenue, profit, market share, and contributing to product development through innovation.

The day to day

  • Manage a large portfolio of State Government accounts.
  • Lead a team of Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Specialist resources to build trusted relationships and expand services in Optus' core Telco, EX/CX, Cyber, ICT, and Managed Services product offerings.
  • Develop Co-Creation strategies through proof of concepts, product development, and innovation lifecycle work with partners like Cisco, Microsoft, NICE, and HPE.
  • Engage with group executives and IT line management of our customers and partners to grow awareness of the Optus brand and our core products.

  • Excellent experience within the IT or Telecommunications industry, supporting long-term business relationships and strategic business plans.
  • Proven sales track record in delivering growth strategies and building customer loyalty in relationship-based market segments.
  • Demonstrated competence in strategic leadership, capability building, customer and partner focus, innovation, results measurement, commercial acumen, and handling complexity and ambiguity.
