Key Responsibilities

Security Engineers:

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise security solutions
  • Conduct system hardening and vulnerability remediation in line with ISM and PSPF guidelines
  • Deploy and maintain security tooling such as firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, and IDS/IPS
  • Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to improve cyber posture
  • Support accreditation and compliance processes across classified environments

SOC Analysts:

  • Monitor and analyse security events in a 24/7 or extended-hour SOC environment
  • Investigate alerts and incidents using tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, and ArcSight
  • Perform triage, incident escalation, and coordination with response teams
  • Develop and refine detection rules, dashboards, and incident response playbooks
  • Assist in threat hunting activities and generation of actionable intelligence reports
Mandatory Requirements
  • Active NV1 security clearance (minimum)
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role (Security Engineering or SOC Operations)
  • Strong knowledge of cyber frameworks such as the ISM, PSPF, ASD Essential Eight
  • Proficiency with enterprise security technologies and tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
  • NV2 or higher clearance
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GSEC, GCIA, or GCED
  • Experience working on federal government cyber programs
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices
