About the Role

Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking additional Environmental Service Workers for 'Fair Haven' our 78 bed Residential Aged Care home based at Hervey Bay. This role will see you working within our kitchen assisting with food preparation, food service, setting up the dining room for meals as well as maintaining a clean environment both inside and outside the kitchen.

About You

Are you somebody who is passionate about food and serving your community?

Our ideal candidate has:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in commercial food preparation/food service and/or cleaning
  • Has a strong knowledge of safe food hygiene practices and kitchen safety
  • Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
  • A variety of shifts are available but ideally will have availability across day and afternoon shifts
  • Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
