The Clyde & Co Perth office specialises in insurance and reinsurance, energy, marine, and natural resources, amongst other practices.

The Programme

Our Clerkship programme is a 4-week Summer Clerkship. Clerks will have exposure to different practice groups, gaining valuable experience and insights into various areas of law.

What to Expect

As a Clerk, you can expect a variety of tasks, including:

• Real Work Experience: Observe cases, draft responses, provide advice, and conduct research.
• Significant Deals: Get involved in important deals, meetings, and negotiations.
• Litigation Exposure: Attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations to see different types of litigation first-hand.
• Insurance Law: Work alongside leading insurance lawyers as they demystify the complexities of insurance law.

• Academic Standing: Applicants should be in their penultimate or final year of a law degree with strong academic performance.
• Working Rights: Must have unrestricted right to work in Australia.
• Availability: Able to commit to paid full-time work for the entire 4-week Summer or 4-week Winter Clerkship programme.
• 2027 Graduate Programme: This clerkship is designed to identify and hire candidates for the 2027 Graduate Programme, providing a pathway to a rewarding career at Clyde & Co.
