We are seeking experienced, self-motivated Assistants in Nursing to join our diverse and passionate nursing team in our private hospital, on a casual or part-time basis, in our rehabilitation and surgical ward.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality, person-centered care to all patients under supervision of a Registered Nurse/HIC/NUM.
  • Observe, identify, and report changes in patients' abilities and/or conditions to a Registered Nurse/HIC/NUM.
  • Contribute to ongoing care planning.
  • Maintain accurate healthcare documentation and collect healthcare information as required.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members according to protocol.
  • Accept and carry out delegated care from a Registered Nurse/HIC/NUM.
  • Demonstrate St Luke's Care Values of Excellence, Transparency, Integrity, Respect, and Trust.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
