Role Overview
As Director of Client Services, you will be responsible for managing and growing some of the most important client relationships within TPA's Queensland portfolio. This is a senior leadership role focused on high-level client strategy, seamless project delivery, team development, and financial accountability. You will be the go-to lead for creative excellence, operational efficiency, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of projects from start to finish, including scoping, briefing, strategic direction, and delivery.
  • Strengthen and grow existing client relationships across QLD.
  • Act as a role model for the Director, Client Services function within the Group.
  • Provide strategic thinking and execution across your client portfolio.
  • Promote a high-performance culture through strong leadership and clear communication.
  • Support other Project Directors in building strong client relationships and team culture.
  • Collaborate with leadership to meet billing targets, manage resources efficiently, and maintain profitability.
  • Assist in system implementation and operational process improvements (e.g., Asana, Pegasus).
  • Ensure accurate financial operations including billing, forecasting, revenue tracking, and cost estimates.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices, templates, and operational tools.
  • Liaise with the Group General Manager to align NSW and QLD operational processes.
  • Support the Group Managing Director in maintaining a 12-month calendar of major project launches.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years in a creative or design agency, with integrated experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and sustain strong client relationships.
  • Strong background in creative strategy and campaign execution.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and delegate effectively.
  • Strategic thinker with sound judgment and prioritization skills.
  • Diplomatic and capable of managing clients and teams at all levels.
  • Hands-on, resourceful, and solutions-driven.
