Internal Job Opportunity – Exercise Physiologist

Permanent Part Time | Multiple sites including 341 Coventry St, South Melbourne

Better Health Network (BHN) is seeking an Exercise Physiologist (Grade 2) to join our Primary & Aged Care, Allied Health Program. Reporting to the Allied Health Program Lead, this role supports clients with chronic and complex health needs through individual and group programs.

The Role
  • Deliver assessments and tailored interventions for clients of all ages with chronic or complex health conditions.
  • Coordinate and deliver group programs including strength training, falls prevention, hydrotherapy, and gym-based programs across BHN campuses and partner sites.
  • Develop, promote, and evaluate physical activity initiatives in collaboration with physiotherapists, allied health assistants, and community partners.
  • Support client self-management within an evidence-based, person-centred framework.
About You
  • A qualification in Exercise Physiology and ESSA registration.
  • Experience supporting people with chronic conditions, multiple or complex needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to community health values and the social model of health.
