Our role: As an Early Childhood Teacher at Goodstart, you'll ignite a love of learning in children, guiding their development with purposeful and energetic teaching practices. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with families, ensuring every child feels a profound sense of belonging and is supported to thrive. Your passion for teaching will shine through as you mentor and inspire educational practices in your room, collaborating with our centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, achieving outstanding outcomes for our children.

About Goodstart Kirwan - Burnda Street:

• Centre Capacity: Our centre caters to 75 places, allowing us to maintain an inclusive, close-knit environment where every child feels valued.
• Role and Room Placement: This role will be based in our Pre-Kindy Room, where you will lead the room of the 3-4 age group alongside our experienced team, fostering early learning in a dynamic setting.
• Centre Features and Environment: Conveniently located in the heart of Kirwan, our centre boasts natural play areas, sensory gardens, and interactive learning zones, designed to spark curiosity and discovery.
• Diverse and Experienced Team: Our team speaks multiple languages, including English, Tagalog, and Hindi, reflecting the rich diversity of our community. With years of combined experience, our educators bring both fresh ideas and seasoned expertise to the classroom.

You'll need:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
• Current QLD Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
