Section Waiter – Chiosco by Ormeggio

The Spit, Mosman

Chiosco by Ormeggio is a vibrant Italian trattoria perched right on the water at The Spit. We're known for our fresh seafood, house-made pasta, relaxed atmosphere, and exceptional service.

We're looking for an experienced Section Waiter to join our friendly, fast-paced team. If you're passionate about hospitality and Italian cuisine, this is your chance to work in one of Sydney's most beautiful waterfront settings.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Setting and resetting tables to venue standards
  • Confidently taking orders and managing your own section
  • Clearing and resetting plates efficiently during service
  • Providing thoughtful food and wine pairing recommendations
  • Delivering warm, attentive service and building rapport with guests
  • Working closely with the team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable service

Requirements :

At least 1 year of experience in a similar section waiter rolePrevious experience with Italian cuisine preferredSound food and wine knowledge, with the ability to recommend pairingsFamiliarity with 7Rooms reservation system is a bonusNSW RSA certificate (mandatory)Full Australian working rights (no restricted visas)Carry 3 platesBubbly & energeitc personality
