Location : Maddington

Time : Monday - Friday | 8am-4pm

Rate : $34.68 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading)

Our client, one of Australia's leading manufacturers of roll formed steel building products, have an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Operator to join their well-established team

Key Responsibilities :

  • Counterbalance forklift operations to store steel products into racking once offloaded from machines.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks
  • Off siding machine to remove products from end of production line and place into racking / storage.
  • Manual handling of sheet metal product, lengths can be anywhere from 1m - 3m long, not overly heavy but can be awkward lengths.
  • Working in a safe manner

T o be successful in a role with Programmed you must possess the following :

Driver's license and reliable vehicleCurrent High Risk Work Forklift license - essentialExperience within steel / metal distribution or manufacturing - desirableBe available for an immediate startHave a current National Police Clearance valid within 3 months, or be able to obtain oneAble to pass a medical and drug & alcohol screen
