Overview

We are looking for an energetic and passionate Store Manager to join our team at General Pants – Wollongong. By joining our team, you're not just an employee. You're a defining part of our brand. Responsibilities
  • Drive outcomes and results through the right skills and behaviours, with self-reflection across teams and breaking goals into bite-sized actions as needed.
  • Review sales and stock sell-through reports, analyse drivers of store results, and collaborate with the Regional Manager on future actions.
  • Understand and coach others to translate reports into actionable steps to hit targets.
  • Hold yourself and each team member accountable for their own results.
  • Mentor and coach the team to grow, celebrate strengths, address gaps, and empower them to take initiative.
  • Manage the team's workload, workflow, time management and delivery through accountability and goal setting.
  • Lead and inspire the team to perform with pride and align with the wider business strategy.
  • Prioritise team wellbeing and mental health, encouraging rest and open conversations about how they're feeling.
About You
  • At least 2 years of management experience in a retail environment.
  • Genuine love and understanding for fashion and our brands.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and engage your team.
  • Proven experience in coaching and developing teams and individuals.
  • Track record of driving and exceeding sales targets and budgets.
  • Knowledge of retail operations including budgets, wages, rostering, visual merchandising, stock management, shrinkage, etc.
  • Full Australian working rights.
