Bulli Hospital, opened in August 2020, is designed to meet the needs of the growing district population. It provides inpatient, outpatient, allied health services, and an Urgent Care Centre.

Bulli, on Wollongong's northern outskirts, features beaches, colonial streetscapes, and mining heritage, offering a rich lifestyle.

Shoalhaven Hospital is a busy rural facility employing over 1,000 staff. It provides emergency, medical, surgical, orthopaedic, ICU, children's, maternity, and regional cancer services. The hospital is undergoing a $438 million redevelopment.

Milton Ulladulla Hospital, situated in Milton village, offers access to beaches, lakes, and scenic landscapes, with a vibrant local culture.

Shellharbour Hospital, with 197 beds, provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including emergency, elective surgery, mental health, and dialysis. Construction of a new hospital is underway.

Shellharbour, on NSW's South Coast, is known for beaches, fishing, and family attractions.

Coledale Hospital specializes in aged care, including a dementia unit, in the picturesque village of Coledale, accessible via the Grand Pacific Drive and Sea Cliff Bridge.

What You'll Be Doing

The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will provide safe, effective medical care under supervision across various hospitals in the Illawarra Shoalhaven district, including Bulli, Coledale, Port Kembla, Shellharbour, Shoalhaven, Wollongong, and GP rotations in Milton. The RMO will work alongside senior doctors, developing clinical decision-making skills and broadening their practice.
