About the role
Are you looking to become a nationally recognised Electrician? Your future career could start right here with the Water Corporation.
Based in Manjimup, this role offers diverse and hands-on experience. One day, you might be carrying out planned maintenance at a wastewater treatment plant; the next, you could be repairing machinery or replacing pumps and valves.
Over four years, you'll gain the skills and experience needed to become a fully qualified tradesperson, setting you up for a rewarding and stable career.

Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for talented individuals with:
- A WA 'C Class' Driver's Licence, or actively working towards obtaining one.
- Completion of Year 12 (or Year 10 in some cases) and a desire to pursue a trade.
- A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
- A solid awareness of safety and a commitment to working safely.
- Motivation, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in hands-on work.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including manual labour, precision work in workshops or field environments, and handling dangerous goods (training provided for safety).
- The ability to learn and eventually perform the full scope of work expected of a qualified tradesperson, with appropriate training and supervision.
- A pre-apprenticeship is a bonus but not essential.
