Winslow Infrastructure is involved in building Melbourne's vast infrastructure network and requires a professional, engaged and driven Project Programmer/Planner to join our high performing team

The Opportunity

As a Project Programmer/Planner, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining construction contract programs that illustrate the planned sequence of works, reflect progress achieved to date and manage all associated risks. This role requires exceptional planning, organisational and stakeholder management skills

  • Work with the Pre-contracts Team to prepare critical path tender programs
  • Drive Project Management Teams in preparing and maintaining Contract programs that illustrate the planned sequence of works, reflect progress achieved to date, and protects both client and internal risks.
  • Optimise project programs to reduce delivery times through improved resource utilisation sequencing
  • Review and evaluate detailed construction plans and project documentation across all phases of the project lifecycle to support the timely and successful delivery of project objectives
  • Train, guide and educate engineers in the optimal development of project programs.
  • Develop master reporting systems and tools
  • Monitor construction programs throughout delivery phases and manage project reporting
  • Analyse programs to identify potential risks, opportunities for improvement and possibilities for acceleration
  • Contribute to claim preparation in line with contractual documents and change events
  • Contribute to forecasting of project cashflow
  • Develop an expert understanding and knowledge of the relevant Winslow systems

Here's what we are looking for…

  • A person who is organised, detail orientated, pro-active with excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Advanced MS Project and Primavera skills
  • Understanding of civil construction productivities, staging and typical constraints
  • Understanding of project lifecycle timing including typical approval processes and project closeout
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability and efficiency in using Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to efficiently review large amounts of client project tender documentation

Preferred

  • PowerBI experience
  • Similar role with Tier 2 or 3 civil contractor
