The Position

Catholic Education Northern Territory is seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our vibrant school communities. With multiple vacancies available, this is your chance to make a real difference in the learning and wellbeing of young children.

Key Responsibilities

As an Early Childhood Educator you will;

  • Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs for children, based on individual strengths and interests.
  • Observe, record, and report on children's learning and wellbeing.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children in care.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with relevant standards, frameworks, and policies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support positive outcomes for children.

About You

We are looking for an Early Childhood Educator who:

  • Holds relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an approved OSHC qualification.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to create safe, inclusive, and engaging environments for children.
  • Lives and breathes Catholic values and is an active member of a Eucharistic community. We also welcome applications from individuals of other faiths who are deeply committed to our values and actively engage in their own faith communities.
  • Possesses a current Working with Children (Ochre) Card and First Aid Certificate
  • The appointment of the successful applicant will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with legislation.
