About the role
As our Senior Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis, you'll support the Corporate business stream within FP&A, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you'll act as 2IC, providing key financial insights to stakeholders with a strong focus on process improvements in data analytics, visualisation, and reporting standards. You'll enhance financial reporting and analysis capabilities, contributing to the College's financial sustainability and stewardship.

As the Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis, you will:
  • Oversee consolidated College reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy development.
  • Lead process improvements in financial modelling, cost allocation, and activity-based costing to enhance reporting and analysis.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business sustainability.
  • Develop and improve financial reporting, data analytics, and visualisation tools to support executive and board-level reporting.
Skills & Experience
  • CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification, with a relevant degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, business partnering, and developing management reporting for Executive/Board audiences.
  • Proven track record in process improvement, business case development, and financial modelling (e.g., NPV/ROI).
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
