Wilder Fox is exclusively partnering with one of Australia's leading property and project management advisory practices to recruit an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in the commercial sector. The portfolio includes commercial newbuild projects in the CBD valued at $100 million and above.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the key point of contact and represent the client's interests throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee planning, execution, and successful delivery of high-end commercial projects in Sydney.
  • Collaborate with design teams, architects, and consultants to meet project objectives and client requirements.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring quality standards and profitability.
  • Lead procurement processes, including tendering, contractor selection, and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
  • Conduct regular meetings, prepare reports, and update clients on project status.
  • Manage and resolve conflicts or issues during construction.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Client-Side Project Manager in high-end commercial assets.
  • Proven success delivering projects valued at $100 million and above, particularly in hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of design and construction processes, working with architects and design teams.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong problem-solving and risk management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Relevant certifications in project or construction management.
